CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS COLLEGE STRATEGY
How well a college system works depends, in large part, on how well it aligns curriculum and assessment with set standards across the campuses. In practical terms, this means that for students to succeed, they should be taught what they are expected to learn and assessed on what they have been taught. Curriculum Division plays a vital role to build staff capacity for continuous improvement. During curriculum planning, a number of support resources are provided that help lecturers identify strengths and innovations in their curriculum and locate any areas that need improvement. Curriculum planning provides a process by which lecturers can become active participants in improving teaching and learning. The Curriculum Division requested lecturers to use their own laptops during lockdown to compile the Teaching and Learning material for students online learning materials, it will be loaded on the College Website. It was also emphasized that the campus management should ensure that students are in possession of textbooks per subject across all learning programmes.
